We are focused on decreasing the rate of thrombosis and pulmonary embolism as well as finding out the causes for such incidents.

The Bayreuth Vein Initiative has been founded in 2007 by the committed medical specialists Dr. med Ulrich Pachmann, Doctor of Transfusion Medicine and Volker Hack, Doctor of Phlebology, Lymphology and outpatient surgery.

Thanks to joint informational events, the circle quickly grew to include active members.
